Cardamom Toast
(not for use with cookie stamps)
Cream:
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
Add:
1 rounded teaspoon ground cardamom
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
Method
Spread butter evenly in 9" x 9" greased pan. Bake 1/2 hour at 350° F. Cut in strips while hot and toast in 300° F oven 20 minutes to 1/2 hour.
