Cheese Cookies - Charlotte's Cheese Circles
Charlotte’s Cheese Circles

1/2 cup butter
1 cup grated sharp cheese (Cheddar works well)
1 cup flour
pinch each of salt and cayenne pepper


Cream butter and cheese well. Add remaining ingredients. Form small balls, stamp with cookie stamp, and bake 10 to 15 minutes at 375° F. Cool and store in a cool place or freeze until needed.
