Paper Casting Project

Create a beautiful gift tag and delicious
homebaked cookies for someone you love!

Materials Needed:

1 Rycraft cookie stamp or craft stamp #089 – Seashell  OR   #1076 – Seashell
Cotton linter - (see Rycraft Paper Casting Kit and Refill)
1 paper casting*
#089 – Seashell  OR   #1076 – Seashell  (see Basic Paper Casting Instructions)
Clear acrylic varnish (optional)
1 picture frame 6”  square with inside opening
    at least 2 3/8” square
Craft paper, rice paper or any paper with a texture
    or design you like, 2 1/2”-3” square

*Note:  Alternately, the casting for this project may be made from clay instead of paper (see Basic Clay Casting Instructions). The choice is yours.

Note: You can substitute Import design #1076 – Seashell for Heirloom design #089 (pictured).

1.  Cut craft paper to fit inside opening of frame.
2.  Optional: Varnish the uncut casting and let dry.
3.  Use a touch of brown paint on the edges of the casting to give it a rustic, natural look.

4.  Glue casting to craft paper.
5.  Insert paper with casting into frame and secure.
