Melting Moments Cookies

1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup sifted flour
3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
Granulated sugar


Preheat oven to 350° F. Mix cornstarch, sugar and flour. Blend in butter. Refrigerate for one hour. Form into 1-inch balls and roll in sugar, coating well. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with a cookie stamp. Bake 15-20 minutes. (This dough can be formed into long rolls and frozen. When ready to bake, slice off desired amount and dip into the sugar.
