Sugar Cookies - Sonja's Swedish Sugar Cookies
Sonja's Swedish Sugar Cookies

Makes about 6 dozen cookies

1 cup sugar
1 cup margarine
2 eggs
1 cup cooking oil
2 tsp. Vlanilla
1 tsp. Cream of tartar
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
5 1/2 cups flour


Preheat oven to 375° F.
Cream sugar and margarine.
Add eggs, oil and vanilla.
Add sifted dry ingredients.
Chill dough at least 2 hours or overnight.
Form dough into balls the size of a whole walnut, place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with a cookie stamp.
Bake at 375º F. for 7-9 minutes, or until edges are light brown.
