Sugar Cookies - Recipe #1

Ingredients
                                            
3/4 cup butter or margarine
1 cup Mazola oil
1 cup powered (confectioner’s) sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla

Method

Cream all above ingredients together.

Add:
4 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt

Make small balls size of walnut. Dip cookie stamp in sugar, then flatten ball. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 10 to 15 minutes I 350 degree oven. Makes approximately 10 dozen cookies.

Ingredients
                                            
2 sticks margarine
1 cup powdered (confectioner’s) sugar
1 cup white (granulated) sugar
2 eggs
1 cup oil
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
5 cups flour


Method

Cream together margarine and sugars. Add eggs, oil and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Make in balls, roll balls in sugar, use cookie stamp to flatten. Bake at 350° F. approximately 11 minutes.
